Psychodrama Popularization Strategy : Focused on Photovoice

Abstract
The objective of the study is to explore strategies for popularizing psychodrama. The research question is ¡®How to popularize psychodrama?¡¯ The data were collected from May 12 till July 20, 2023, through 30 hours of 10 research meetings and by the SNS, which were 89 photos. They were analyzed by use of photovoice research method. There were found 5 categories, 17 subcategories, and 56 semantic units, which were identified as strategies for popularizing psychodrama. Five categories were ¡°meaning of psychodrama¡±, ¡°expectation of psychodrama¡±, ¡°difficulty in continuous on-site participation¡±, ¡°measures to establish the status of the Korean Association for Psychodrama and Sociodrama¡±, and ¡°measures to promote psychodrama.¡± The significance of the study is that the photo voices of the participants can be utilized as a way to find strategies for popularizing psychodrama, and that the result can be used to promote psychodrama for general population in near future.
